“Jennifer, just a short note to say a big THANK YOU for the two great sessions on power intelligence that you delivered for our leaders this week in Yukon.

I have heard some great feedback from participants and we have been continuing to have great conversations post training about power and how we use our power. So inspiring!” – Assistant Deputy Minister, Yukon Government

The Essentials of Productive Conflict

Conflict is a central issue in the workplace. Conflict causes staff turnover, burnout, strained stakeholder relations, and lost profits when left unresolved.

Each person in an organization brings different points of view, backgrounds, languages, cultures, values, identities, and needs to our relationships and organizations. Imagine if we could create a structure in our organizations that uses these difference as potential energy to drive our initiatives forward, lead our projects to success, and guide our relationships toward greater understanding and productivity? This workshop provides you with a method to achieve these goals.

This workshop is essential for anyone seeking to foster a diverse and innovative workplace, inclusive of 2SLGBTQ+ identities.

The Essentials of Power Intelligence

All workplace interactions involve power. The way you see, understand, and act on your power has an impact on others. How “well” you use your power is judged by those on the receiving end, and their experience of your power may not match your intentions.

So, what do you do? The answer is to develop your power intelligence.

Based on the work of Julie Diamond, this Power Intelligence workshop introduces you to the central elements of power: your sense of power (feelings), use of power (behaviors), and the impact of your power on others. Bringing awareness of these elements allows you to see, understand, and influence the power dynamics in your workplace interactions.

If you are a leader (at any level) this workshop is for you. It will help you identify critical opportunities related to how you use power, support your ability to lead more effectively, improve team culture, and achieve sustained success for your organization and your career.

In addition, senior leaders have the option to pair this course with Power Intelligence coaching using the Diamond Power index 360 assessment. This allows you to take the workshop learning more profoundly into your professional development with a comprehensive roadmap for development and actionable insights and suggestions for improvement.
